Launched in 2019, Color & Curls was created by Ms. Celicia Montgomery as a platform to inspire women to live colorful lives through empowerment, self-discovery, mental strength, self-awareness, and freedom of expression. As of July 2021, Color & Curls has started to offer personal styling services and an online boutique offering an assortment of fun, fashion finds.
A dedicated journal writer since her early childhood years, Celicia decided to merge two of her passions (writing and “coloring”) to assist others on their quest to living emotionally healthy and stylish lives.
“Promoting colorful thinking, mental healthiness and self-awareness will assist women in being better individuals which in turn will allow us all to be better friends, sisters, daughters, partners, and mothers. It is with love, unison, and color that we can help one another be great!”
Celicia was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where she currently resides. Some of her outside passions include serving the community, empowering women, and being a proud aesthete. To fulfill these soul cravings, she often spends a lot of her free time volunteering with New York Urban League Young Professionals and with the Psi Lambda Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc, Mentoring, visiting museums & art galleries across the globe.
